The winter here depresses me a lot, so I spend most of it trying to distract myself with socializing and entertainment. Not only does my creativity suffer during the winter, but most of what I do create turns out to be gloomy and then feels foreign to me because I am a naturally happy person. I am starting to plan an escape to somewhere more warm. Maybe Hawaii. Or Mexico. Or one of the Caribbean islands in our Commonwealth. At least for a while... I am trying to.
